After months of not writing a post, I'm back with a travel blog. I hope you'll find it helpful if you want to go to Camotes Islands and I'll try my best to give you all the needed details.
Disclaimer: Everything is based on our experience, trip and what we did. We may have different experiences but I hope you'll find this helpful. Thanks!
How to get to Camotes Islands?
It's either you ride a RORO or FASTCRAFT. Here are the ff ways you can get to Camotes Islands?
1) First one is the most popular way to get there, and that's to avail Jomalia Shipping Lines located in Danao, Cebu. The port is beside Jollibee. Here are the ff schedules;
MORNING
5:30AM     Danao Port              Consuelo      Jomalia Shipping
8:30AM     Danao Port             Consuelo       Jomalia Shipping
12:00Noon Danao Port            Consuelo       Jomalia Shipping
AFTERNOON
2:00PM    Danao Port     to         Consuelo     Jomalia Shipping
5:30PM    Danao Port     to         Consuelo     Jomalia Shipping
9:00PM (Friday,Sat, Sun ONLY)    Danao Port   to   Consuelo     Jomalia Shipping

You can bring your car with you, and 1200php (sedan) is for one way, 1400 for big cars. Each person will pay 200php (tourist so airconditioned);  discount applies to student and senior citizens. 180php for economy.

The problem about Jomalia shipping line is that when we went there around 7am; the place is fullypacked with tourists and there's no system in the lining, there are a lot of fixers selling tickets for 350php and a lot of people insert because no one from the company assists in the line. Some lined up from 3am and got the 12nn or 2pm ride to Camotes, esp the morning schedule was sold out considering it was the weekend and May 1 was a holiday. The trip is for 1 hr and 30 mins to 2 hours.

2. E.B Aznar Shipping Line in Carmen
So during our trip, someone announced that for those who will bring their cars would have to leave by 2pm since all other trips before were sold out; and luckily some old man talked about another shipping line going to Camotes and is few minutes away from the Danao Port. E.B Aznar is more expensive than Jomalia Shipping lines but they only have one schedule going to Camotes, and that's 10:00am and you'll arrive in PORO, Camotes Islands.
270php is the fare and no aircon guys unlike Jomalia; discount applies to senior citizens & students. 1400php for cars (one way. The trip is for 2 hours.
